The Transcontinental Penguin Super Show

Thirty episodes…..gosh it's easy when you just say it like that……and what better way to celebrate this fine milestone on the Transcontinental Penguin Super Show than to discuss our favorite topics which are none other than the PS3 and Wii releases!  I guess we could also talk about the really awesome 10th season debut of South Park featuring the best MMORPG EVER CREATED, World of Warcraft!  Sony released a response to the lack of rumble feature in the PS3 controller.  A GameStop regional manager believes that the PS3 "isn't going to launch well" which could be very accurate when hear things like neither edition will come with the cables for hookup to HD TVs.  The lack of units is still prevalent despite it going to 400,000 units now, though most of any pre-order for it is now over.  This option could actually help Nintendo and Microsoft as being a holiday other option for the lack of PS3s out there.  The Wii, on the other hand, with the CompUSA leaked pricing information, will now ship double our original estimates with 2 million units.  The pre-order for the Wii too are tight but with these plenty of units available, odds of getting one are much better even with the rumored possible early launch.  An interview with Nintendo's VP of Marketing for America answers a lot of Wii questions.  One thing plaguing our minds is the affect of sunlight on the wireless sensor some seem to be finding.  And finally despite their best efforts to hack and mod the Wii to put an OS in it, Nintendo beat you to it but having Linux already installed and what appears to be updateable.  Good job, Nintendo.  Beware of damaged fingers and names when Emerson garbage disposals sue for the new shows "Heros" slanderous scene.  Mike loses his mind for this week's WTF is Wrong With Japanese People.  For the first time, there was going to be a WTF is RIGHT Story but since Yahoo News is gay and doesn't archive their own stories, there is no link.  Also, despite Chris not believing, Mike swears we have had the link of the fast Japanese undressing guy.  Watch the movie and let us know.  FInally, think America likes porn?  Well, Japan has an 80 billion dollar a year one of their own which can be seen in a new book called the "Pink Box."  That name sounds so naughty….A.D.I.D.A.S Baby!!!

On quite possibly the most and only serious moment, to date, on the Transcontinental Penguin Super Show, we would like to express our deepest and most sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter.  He was will be missed but his legacy with live on for years to come.  We pay tribute to him with some clips and his spoofed South Park appearance.

Welcome once again ladies and gentlemen to the greatest show on Earth as The Transcontinental Penguin Super performs for you in the center circle.  This week on the show we played several songs by one Richard Cheese and his awesome approach to music; taking everyday popular tunes and transforming them into lounge lizard classics.  Despite a release date a little under a year away, The Transformers movie will consistently continue to have news evident by this week sneak peak at some of the Autobots in the closing seen of the movie.  Expect a full trailer this holiday season.  Tom Cruise had a bad day when he was dropped by Paramount from and the same day Matt Stone and Trey Parker pick up a two movie contract.  At least his day wasn't as bad as Timmy Shannon, an Ohio teen severely traumatized after discovering the stars of a downloaded porno flick were none other than his own parents.  In Solar System news, Pluto loses his planetary status and is now a dwarf planet while *INSERT RANDOM URANUS JOKE HERE*  We also learned that, well, actually we already knew that Chad Kroger of Nickleback was a pussy.  The Nintendo Corporation continues their epic charge toward world domination with the September 14 release of vital information about the Wii, price and release date possibly.  Also, the DS's Star Fox Command comes out soon.  In sad news for the first time ever in a while from Nintendo, it seems some third party game designers have not been given the Wii software and therefore their games will be missing key components, i.e. wifi just to name one.  No matter, the domination of Sony will occur either way no matter if it's wired or wireless.  A ground breaking four stories will hit you in junk as WTF is Wrong With Japanese People flies frantically toward your genitals.  A Japanese man sets a record with a giant trampoline basketball slam dunk while crazy mimes trick people into walking around imaginary glass.  Yet more Japanese game show weirdness with two clips; one containing what we can only assume as evil Pokemon and a sex doll to play with and the other with simply men's ass shoved into other men's faces.  Yeah….we know….

Enough is enough!  I have had it with these mother fucking penguins on this mother fucking Transcontinental Penguin Super Show!  In case you have been living in a cave, we have a video this week of Samuel L. And what have we learned?  Well, this week's Transcontinental Penguin Super Show has taught us some very fine points.  For example, someone at Microsoft is a massive perve and David Hasselhoff seems to believe he is the Anti-Christ, duh….  The hip Mac kid has a good career ahead of him, but with the return of Kickball, at least he has a back up option should his career fail miserably.  G4 created a spoof commercial, PS3 vs Wii with the only thing that you'll find on the gamer channel, that's right, hot girls.  Everyone, including Chris's coworker, seems to be looking forward to the Nintendo Wii as more amazing functionality was revealed; voice recognition!  Meanwhile, in typical fashion Sony has another problem when they lose FROM Software.  The RIAA in their amazing pompous self-righteousness are suing the family of a dead person.  An official warning to all our listeners currently on their laptop as your battery may burst into flames at any given moment.  Go check to make sure your Dell isn't being recalled.  Our suggestion is take a look at the new Mac Pro desktop and see if you can track yourselves down Apple's Leopard.  Vonage is making it even easier to take your home phone with you thanks to their new V-Phone service.  Patience to all the Craft addicts out there.  The Burning Crusade is coming soon and we've got all the information Blizzard just spilled to IGN about it.  Hopefully, your machine wasn't attacked by the massive worm that was just recently released.  WTF is Wrong With Japanese People continues to prove that you really don't want to be on any kind of game show whilst in Japan.  And not to drag up the painful memories, but just a reminder that Razor Ramon "Hard Gay" is now officially married.  We wish him the best luck in the future ruining of the lives of all the children I'm sure he will be having.  And finally, we cross our fingers that the world doesn't end next week because then, well, we won't be able to do the show for anyone anymore as a result of being radioactive super mutants.  If nothing happens, great, thank goodness.  But if the world does explode, just remember, you knew about it from us here first!!!

Sweet!!  Only one more episode and we're old enough to drink!  This week on The Transcontinental Penguin Super Show the world of gaming stood still for a moment when whilst we all reflected on the near demise of E3.  Some say it is a simple "downsizing" or "restructuring" but this can be certainly said, E3 as we know will never be the same again.  Nintendo continues the march toward victory with more amazing news including the long awaited DS Headset, complete system specs for the Wii, revealing camera and headset functions, as well as being "revolutionary" by running Linux of a solid state media card.  Sony efforts, though possibly in vain, continue none the less and the first wave of their counter offensive rolls off the assembly line!  Only 100 billion more PS3 to see that profit turn around.  Not to be out done, Microsoft vows they will steal the spotlight from Sony and Nintendo.  Their lack of attention on their operating systems here is possibly a reason people like American McGee are going to switch to Linux.  The fact that Windows Genuine Advantage doesn't work right or the new demo of Vista leaves you saying the same thing as most others, when will it end?  AOL's last ditch effort for survival seems to be just that, an attempt to keep what few people remain loyal.  Batman gets a little gayer, Brokeback Mountain style with Heath Ledger being the Joker in the upcoming Batman: The Dark Knight sequel.  It gets worse with Ryan Phillipe as Harvey Dent.  As we said, if only the asteroid would collide with Earth and end it all or at least give a solid peaceful release to lobster people everywhere.  Japan shames themselves further in this episodes WTF is Wrong With Japanese People.  Some crazy guy built what looks like a mech while Nike uses transforming robots, not Transformers as confusion suggests, to support their product.  If you can't figure out the burger magic trick then perhaps you'll stay tuned for a little English lesson, Japanese style.  Come on!  Come on, Toshi!  Come On!
